Additional Schedule InformationCome join us with the new Unit 2 combined with Teaching Strategies Course being piloted by the SAA. We will take the teaching elements of Books 1 and 2, and integrate these ideas into the practical side of teaching. A minimum of 2 teaching videos of approximately 10 minutes each should be prepared for class viewing.
The course will run online Friday mornings throughout April and May.

Audition: Piano Basic, or Piano Comprehensive.
Deadline: All audition materials must be submitted by March 19 *

Trainer Information
Annette Lee has been a Suzuki teacher since 1988. She received her BM in piano performance from Wheaton Conservatory and her MM in piano performance from the University of Michigan, where she was a fellowship student under Louis Nagle and Martin Katz. Her Suzuki training has been with Yasuko Joichi, Doris Koppelman, Jane Kutscher Reed, Rick Mooney, Fay Adams and Mary Craig Powell. Ms. Lee has taught at the Music Institute of Chicago and DePaul University and is currently on faculty at the MacPhail Center for Music in Minneapolis. At MacPhail, she is a Suzuki teacher, directs the parent training program for the Suzuki department, and is a staff accompanist. She is a frequent clinician at Suzuki Institutes, having taught in Stevens Point, WI, Blue Lake Institute, MI, Mt. Royal Academy, Calgary, the Wheaton Preparatory Department, IL the Preucil School in IA and at the Colorado Suzuki Institute.
