The Omaha Conservatory of Music is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) school that builds a diverse musical community to enrich lives through education and performance.

Omaha Conservatory of Music provides private lessons in violin, viola, cello, bass, piano, guitar, voice, winds, brass, and percussion, as well as conducting, music composition, and theory.

The Conservatory’s outstanding artist-faculty challenges and inspires a student body of nearly 700 students through private lessons, and touches the lives through programs such as summer institutes, concerts, festivals, and classes.

Our musical community offers a rich variety of classes, interaction with guest artists, ensemble experiences, educational workshops, solo and group performances, and other unique opportunities.

At the Omaha Conservatory of Music, we believe that passion for learning combined with dedication to excellence can make music a lifelong source of joy and inspiration for our students and families. Our encouraging environment allows students to gain confidence in their musical abilities, learn discipline and mastery, and enjoy music-making with their peers.

At the Conservatory, all students will experience music with depth, pursue excellence, and develop in their area of interest. We strive to offer the students a wide range of opportunities that are fun and engaging, and that encourage the entire family to participate in a joyful educational experience.

Omaha Conservatory of Music Suzuki Institute | July 22–30, 2021

Hooray! You’re invited to register for the Omaha Conservatory’s first annual Suzuki Institute. Join us for a magical, musical 5-day experience full of learning with top-notch Suzuki teachers.

The Institute will feature focused learning on repertoire, rhythm, technique and more. Students can participate in electives like Duet, Fiddle and Yoga, as well as masterclasses designed to deepen their musical mastery.

Students can participate in a variety of ways depending on their age and skill level. Our options for the Suzuki Institute include: Early Childhood Education (ages 0-4, $100); two Half-Day opportunities depending on skill level (ages 3–7, $300); and Full-Day (ages 5+, $500). All students up to age 12 require a caregiver present.

We’re also offering Every Child Can (ECC), and Viola or Cello Unit 1 teacher training. Teachers, this is the perfect opportunity to pump up your pedagogy! Click here to register for teacher training!
