Masterclasses, Repertoire and Technique classes, Advanced Program for both Suzuki and Traditional students, Piano Coaching, Suzuki Graduation, Chamber Music, Fiddle, Eurhythmics, Theory and World Rhythms offerings available. Daily recitals and a grand finale concert feature student performances.

Fairbanks School of Talent Education FSI Scholarship

For Students, Amount: TBD, Application due: March 15
A limited number of need based scholarship assistance is available to students from the Fairbanks School of Talent Education group lesson program. Application forms are available at www.suzukifairbanks.com. All application materials must be received by March 15 to be considered.

Housing & Meals

Hotels and nearby B&Bs are available. University of Alaska Fairbanks dormitory rooms are open to institute participants and families. University housing information is available at www.uaf.edu/reslife/conference under the Conference Housing listing. Restaurants and grocery stores are nearby and accessible by public transportation from the university.


Alaska offers a rich array of outdoor activities during the summer months of 24-hour daylight. Nearby hiking trails, natural hot springs, riverboat rides, canoe and kayak rental, Alaska Railroad, Denali National Park with the majestic Denali, glacier viewing and the farthest north golf courses are available.
