Housing & Meals

Housing is available either through local hotels or at the UAA dormitories if you are on a budget. Please contact UAA housing for more information at (907) 751-7202 or [javascript protected email address]. You MUST book EARLY as summer is the busy tourist season in Alaska. You will need to rent a car unless your lodging is very close to our venue (located in South Anchorage). Meals during the day are sack lunches. Please contact us if you have questions or would like more information on how to make a trip to Alaska more affordable!

Recreation

There are many opportunities for recreational activities and cultural venues- hiking, bike trails, mountain biking, fishing, scenic car drives, Anchorage Museum, Native Heritage Center, Alaska Zoo, bus and Alaska railroad tours, flight-seeing charters, shopping, gold-panning, dog-sledding, etc. For more information check out the links on our website to activities in Anchorage and surrounding areas.

Other Info

We are more than happy to accommodate any special needs attendees. This is a great way to combine a sightseeing trip to Alaska with study of the Suzuki Method. Please contact us if you have questions.

The SAA does not run the workshops and summer institutes; it approves separate businesses to run them. For specific information on schedules, enrollment, pricing, housing, etc. please contact sponsoring organizations directly with inquiries.
