The Utah Suzuki Harp Institute is the largest harp only Suzuki Institute in the country. We are excited to be holding it at Utah State University this year. This beautiful college town in Logan, Utah will be the perfect setting for both student and teacher courses.
Remember that we can only accept 100 students max so enroll early to make sure you get a spot!

Student Fees

  • Tuning Fee (for all harpists) $30

Teacher Fees

Unit 3: $550

  • Unit 5 $550
  • Teacher discount per student enrolled, up to 4 students $25 discount

Utah Suzuki Harp Institute scholarship fund

For Students, Amount: $50-$350, Application due: April 15
There are a limited amount of scholarships available to those who wish to apply. They will be awarded on a need basis first.

Housing & Meals

Housing is available in university dormitories.

  • Double $30/per person/per night

$150 per person/week (5 nights)
Each dorm has 2 beds per room, 3 rooms per dorm. Please specify if you have specific requests.

University Inn and Conference Center
There is a special rate for the Inn on campus. $69 per night (2 queen beds, breakfast/parking incl.)

Logan is located in the heart of Cache Valley, a lush scenic valley surrounded by some of the most magnificent and beautiful mountains in the Rocky Mountain range. With four distinct and beautiful seasons, there is something for everyone. It is located 85 miles from Salt Lake City International Airport.

Other Info

There will be a few small scholarships available to harp students. Financial need is the top priority in awarding financial assistance. Students must apply by April 1, 2018. No exceptions granted for late applications.

The SAA does not run the workshops and summer institutes; it approves separate businesses to run them.
