This course is offered both in-person at Stevens Point and online (in-person attendance is encouraged and scholarship is available). Pedagogy and observations will take place during regular ASI class hours: 8-11 am CDT and 1-4 pm CDT (live-streamed for those attending virtually). Other institute activities take place during the later afternoon and early evening hours. Whether attending online or in-person, attendance at some of these events is strongly encouraged.

Event Description

Events such as recitals will be live-streamed for those attending virtually. Opening Ceremonies and TWP Orientation Meeting (required) on July 17. Registration opens in February. Dorm check-out is Noon on July 23

Prerequisite course:

Viola Unit 3, or Violin Unit 3

Audition: Violin Intermediate, or Violin Comprehensive.

Deadline: All audition materials must be submitted by July 3 *

Carol Dallinger

Carol Dallinger is Professor Emerita of music at the University of Evansville where she served as a member of the faculty from 1972—2021. She was instructor of violin and viola, Suzuki pedagogy, chamber music, and music theory and founder of the University of Evansville Suzuki Violin Program.
