Finian Burns is a violin student of Kirsten Marshall in Ithaca, NY. He is a member of the Heifetz violin ensemble and the Ithaca Talent Education Chamber Orchestra. In 2010, he participated in the SYOA. He has performed in master classes with Brian Lewis, Ben Beilman and Sandy Ya.
