Joseph Pecoraro

Joseph Pecoraro is widely recognized as a performer, recording artists, author and teacher. He has performed as soloist with numerous orchestras and vocal ensembles, collaborated with dozens of prominent singers and instrumentalists, and given solo recital across the United States and abroad. Pecoraro currently serves as a member of the artist faculty at the University of North Carolina School of the Arts and the Piedmont Suzuki Young Guitarists program in Winston-Salem, NC. Previous teaching positions include Salem College, Indiana University, and the University of Colorado. He is in frequent demand as a guest clinician, has served on the regular faculties of numerous summer workshops and directs the UNCSA Summer Guitar Workshop. He has taught guitar pedagogy courses as well as young students using the Suzuki method for over 20 years and is a registered teacher trainer in guitar with the SAA.
