Christopher Liccardo

Christopher Liccardo is in demand as a clinician throughout the United States. He is a member of the piano faculty at the Lawrence Eisman Center for Preparatory Studies in Music at Queens College in New York City, and is the founder and coordinator of the Suzuki piano program, which began in 1987. Mr. Liccardo was the piano coordinator for the 2004 SAA conference. He is a contributor to the book 10 Teachers’ Viewpoints on Suzuki Piano. He has recently edited and published two volumes for pianists, titled Repertoire for the Intermediate Pianist, Volumes A and B. Companion CDs are available and feature Mr. Liccardo and his son, Joseph, a concert pianist and former Suzuki student who was the national winner of the MTNA High School and Collegiate (Young Artist) competitions.
