Carol Jilling

Carol Jilling graduated with a BA in Music Ed degree from Evangel University. Further studies were in Jacksonville Univ., Univ. N. Colo., Denver Univ., Salzburg Music Festival in Austria. She is certified as a Kindermusik teacher, trained in Kodaly and Orff. She has taught in public schools and in her private piano studio for over 35 years.

After researching the learning styles of young children, she embraced the “mother tongue” philosophy of Dr. Suzuki and gained training in Suzuki piano. She has given lectures to music teacher groups and the Colo. State Music Teachers Convention concerning the benefits of learning by hearing.
