Housing & Meals

Cafeteria lunches will be available at the Institute and need to be preordered on the registration form.
6 lunches for $42. Participants will receive more information about other nearby eating options in their welcome packet.

Families attending Institute are encouraged to take advantage of the accommodations available directly across the street from Harrisburg Academy at the Radisson Hotel Harrisburg. A block of rooms have been set aside at a discounted rate for attendees at Pennsylvania Suzuki Institute. There is no on-campus housing at Harrisburg Academy.


The Central Pennsylvania area is a wonderful place for a family vacation. Come visit Hersheypark, Hershey’s Chocolate World, ZooAmerica, Dutch Wonderland, Amish Country in Lancaster County, Gettysburg Battlefield, National Civil War Museum in Harrisburg, the beautiful State Capitol Complex, Lake Tobias Wildlife Park, take a boat ride on the Pride of the Susquehanna, and see a Senators Baseball game on Harrisburg’s City Island. Travel: The Pennsylvania Suzuki Institute is conveniently located approximately 20 minutes from Harrisburg International Airport and two hours or less from major airports of Philadelphia, Baltimore and Washington, D.C.

The SAA does not run the workshops and summer institutes; it approves separate businesses to run them.
