Event Description
The Advanced Flute Track is a select group of students in Suzuki Books 5 and up as well as those playing comparable repertoire. In addition to Master Class, Repertoire, Performance/Audition Technique and Enrichment, these students will be preparing a Double Concerto which will be performed with orchestra. New in 2019 will be an Honors Quartet and Double Quartet. These ensembles will prepare advanced quartet repertoire. The Double Concerto and Quartet ensembles will perform on the Ensemble Extravaganza Concert. AFT students are encouraged to bring their piccolo, alto flute or bass flute to LVDSI. All ensemble music will be sent to registered AFT students no later than May 15.
