Las Vegas Desert Suzuki Institute
Las Vegas, NV
The 2016 Las Vegas Desert Suzuki Institute will be enjoying its seventh year in Las Vegas, Nevada. We are thrilled to offer our SAA flute, piano, violin and viola students, siblings, parents and teachers this musical experience. Teacher training will include: ECC, Violin 1, Flute 1 and Flute 2.
Our Intro To Music Camp for ages 3-6 is a 1/2 day program and wonderful introduction to the Suzuki world and music. With traditional Master Class, Repertoire, Technique, Ensemble and Fiddling classes, LVDSI also offers more in-depth work for our advanced Flute and Violin students Books 5 and up. Please check our website for more information on our Advanced Track offerings.
Performance opportunities include: Honors Recital, Informal Noontime Student Performances, Ensemble Extravaganza and Final Concert. New this year: a Concerto Competition with the winner performing with the Institute Chamber Orchestra. As always with LVDSI, you never know when or where a flash mob will appear to entertain you!
A Tuesday night Mardi Gras Party, Theme Days, Parent Round Tables, Wednesday night Adult Dalcroze Workshop, LVDSI T-Shirt Signing Day, Faculty/Trainee Potluck Dinner and more make this a memorable musical week for both students and adults.
