David Einfeldt Chamber Music Seminar: Violin, Viola, Cello
Event Description
The David Einfeldt Chamber Music Seminar is an intensive residential chamber music experience for advanced string players ages 13-17. Students will have daily quartet rehearsals and coachings with a member of the Biava Quartet, as well as a dynamic combination of quartet masterclasses, applied lessons and masterclasses, chamber orchestra, and instrumental choir throughout the seminar. Faculty for the Einfeldt Seminar include the Biava String Quartet; Benjamin Gish, cello; Laura Shuster, viola; and Thomas Wermuth, violin.
Applications will be accepted beginning Jan. 30 with rolling admissions. On site auditions: Hartford (1/30), New York & Boston (2/7 & 2/8), Chicago (2/13 & 2/14), Cleveland (2/20), Ithaca (2/21), Lexington (2/28 & 3/1). DVD auditions will still be accepted.
