B.A. Colorado State University and University of Wyoming. Suzuki violin teacher training: East Carolina School of Music, Intermountain Suzuki Institute, Colorado Suzuki Institute and Western Springs School of Talent Education. Teacher training through violin book 10 and viola book 4. Practicum studies with Linda Fiore. Director of Colorado Springs Strings ensemble for intermediate to advanced violinists, String Coach for violin at Sand Creek High School, viola coach for the Colorado Springs Youth Symphony and a local and regional pop solo artist and quartet performer for formal events. Performance experience: Chamber Orchestra and Mozart Quartet at Harding University, Arkansas, University of Wyoming Symphony and Chamber Orchestras and member of the Wyoming Symphony Orchestra for 6 years. Vanessa is passionate about children and character development. Although the Suzuki Method is the core of her teaching, she also offers ensemble classes and lectures on Pop music performance, improvisation and electric violin study.
