Tamara Stojanovic Albahari, internationally recognized violinist and music educator, Suzuki teacher since 2000. Extensive Suzuki training in the US and Canada. Violin faculty at the Suzuki Music School of Michiana since 2007. Professional orchestra player serving as concertmaster for LaPorte Symphony Orchestra since 2007 and member of the South Bend Symphony Orchestra. Sectional coach at South Bend Youth Symphony Orchestra. Baroque violin in Fleur de Lys chamber ensemble at the University of Notre Dame. Adjunct assistant professor of violin at the University of Notre Dame. Recent appointments include Artist in residence at Clay High School, South Bend and Fischoff Chamber Music Mentoring Program coach. Tamara holds a Master of Music in Violin Performance from San Francisco State University (2003) where she studied Chamber Music with the Alexander String Quartet, and a Diploma in Violin Performance from the State Conservatory of Music ‘Luigi Cherubini,’ Florence, Italy (1999, class of Eddy Perpich). She also graduated Magna cum Laude in the School of Letters and Philosophy, University of Florence (2000). Professional memberships include Suzuki Association of the Americas and American Federation of Musicians.
