Ms. Susan Stephenson

Susan Stephenson grew up in Toledo, Ohio. She began studying the violin in elemtary school and continued through high school. She received her Bachelor and Master of Music degrees in violin performance from the University of Toledo and Ohio University, respectively.

After graduation, she became interested in the Suzuki Method of musical instruction. She proceeded to enter Suzuki Violin Teacher Training and is certified through Volume 5. Later, she pursued Suzuki Early Childhood Education training and has taught Baby, Toddler, and Preschool classes.

Susan lived, taught, and performed in the Northern Virginia/Washington DC area for nearly 30 years. She then returned to Toledo in 2008 and established the Suzuki Music School of Greater Toledo.
