Susan M. Hammer

Susan has played the violin since the age of six, and has over 30 years’ experience teaching the violin to children and adults. She teaches private lessons and has also taught at the Portland Community Music Center, in the Suzuki program at Marylhurst University, and the Happy Valley Arts Academy. She enjoys playing classical music and has played with the Portland Opera Orchestra, the Columbia Symphony, and the Portland Youth Philharmonic. She also enjoys playing fiddle and currently plays with the band, No Time 2 Lose.
