Sherry Boyd

Canadian born, Sherry Boyd began her musical studies at the age of seven. Boyd earned her A.R.C.T. (Associate of The Royal Conservatory of Music), in Piano Teaching.

Since coming to Kingston, Boyd continues to offer a Community Music Education Program (CMEP), with commitment of quality music for young to experienced children and adults. Sherry has an active teaching schedule, instructing piano to students of all ages and levels. She teaches music theory including basic, intermediate and advanced rudiments and history to students. As of September 2018, Sherry has now taken to instructing this program off campus (Queens’ University) to run privately in the community which it serves as her own. CMEP is now owned and operated by Sherry Boyd Academy of Music. New this year Boyd is offering group class lessons in Preschool Childhood, Tween Beginner, Tween Experienced as well as Complete Adult Classes.
