Shannon has taught violin for over a decade, and has her Bachelor of Music degree in Violin Performance from Eastern Michigan University. She completed post-baccalaureate work at the University of Minnesota as a student of Mark Bjork.

Shannon grew up as a Suzuki student in violin, and by the age of 8 had decided to become a violin teacher. She believes that with proper instruction and a nurturing environment, every child can learn to love and excel in music!
