Rebecca Bressanelli currently teaches and performs in the Fort Leonard Wood, Missouri area. Rebecca was a 2017 second place winner of the American Fine Arts Festival String Competition, which resulted in a recital showcase performance at Carnegie Hall’s Weill Hall. Perpetually passionate about sharing music in the community, Rebecca served as concertmaster for the Lake Murray Symphony Orchestra (Irmo, SC) and currently performs with the St. Louis Civic Orchestra as a member of the viola section.

Previous teaching studios include locations in Illinois, Iowa, South Korea and South Carolina.
Rebecca holds Violin Performance degrees from Western Illinois University (Bachelor of Music) and the University of Iowa (Master of Arts). Rebecca’s teachers were Julieta Mihai and Katie Wolfe. Rebecca studied chamber music with Beth Oakes at the University of Iowa. Other major teachers include Sarah Torrenga, Nancy Jackson and Kristin Hedlund. In 2016, Rebecca was awarded the Shinichi Suzuki Teacher Training Fellowship for summer study at the American Suzuki Institute, which allowed her to complete Teacher Training for Violin Units 2 and 3. Rebecca has completed Suzuki Violin Teacher Training with Nancy Lokken and Beth Titterington.
