A Taiwanese-Canadian pianist, Paula obtained her master degrees from University of Ottawa following the studies at Calgary University. She had worked with Marilyn Engle, Dr. Stephane Lemelin during the studies on piano performance. More recently, she has finished her pedagogy degree on researches of neuroscience supervised by Dr. Gills Comeau at Piano Lab, School of Music, OU.

As a collaborative pianist, Paula had worked at the Conservatory, Mount Royal college, Calgary (now Mount Royal University) Academy Program; accompanied Opera workshop as a TA at Ottawa University; and performed with varied chamber music groups, choirs in Ottawa. She had taught music overseas in the International School in Shanghai, China for four years prior to her researches on piano pedagogy and music cognition.

Paula enjoys being involved with varied music events, such as auditions, recitals, and music festivals besides teaching piano. She has been a member of Ontario Registered Music Teacher Association since 2003.
