Paige Nicole Lloyd is a graduate from Brigham Young University in Provo, UT, where she earned her degree in Violin Performance, studying under the instruction of Alexander Woods. She is a strong advocate for the Suzuki Method and has completed the Every Child Can! (Cleo Brimhall), Book 1 (Mark Mutter, Cathy Lee), Book 2 (Cathy Lee), Book 3 (Cathy Lee), Suzuki Principles in Action (Mark Mutter) certification as well as audited Book 6 (Allen Lieb), individualized teacher training with Jennifer Morette Jackson, and has taken Cathy Lee’s bow exercises course. Paige currently runs a private Suzuki studio out of her home and adores being a mama to her three boys, Grant (5), Luke (3), and Braun (1). She has been on her Suzuki cello journey with Grant (Megan Boyle) for one year and has recently started her piano journey with Luke (Pam Chaffin).

Paige was born and raised in Modesto, CA where she began learning the violin at age 5 through the Suzuki Method. Paige’s private instruction was given under the direction of Christine Lloyd (1997-2001), Christine Beckstrom (2001-2008), and Brook Moes (2008-2010). As a youth, she attended summer institutes and workshops such as the Intermountain Suzuki String Institute. In 2009, Paige received the Talent Award and the local title of Modesto’s Junior Miss, then in 2010 earned the Talent Award and title as California’s Junior Miss, and was named a Top Ten Finalist at America’s Junior Miss. She has performed as concertmaster of the Modesto Symphony Youth Orchestra and first violinist in the Modesto Junior College Orchestra. While attending BYU, Paige was a first violinist in the Brigham Young University Philharmonic and Chamber Orchestras under the direction of Kory Katseanes as well as the BYU Baroque Ensemble led by Alexander Woods. In addition to orchestral experience, Paige has performed with various chamber groups and has pit musician experience accompanying opera, ballet, theatrical, jazz and choral performances.

In 2010, Paige traveled to Germany and Austria performing with a California Regional Youth Orchestra. She has also performed regionally in Wyoming, Texas, and throughout Utah with the BYU Philharmonic Orchestra and Baroque Ensemble. In May 2014, Paige spent three weeks touring with the BYU Chamber Orchestra in Italy, Slovenia, Hungary and Turkey.

Along with classical playing, Paige enjoys playing shows with local recording artists. She was a member of The National Parks, recording all violin parts on their 2012 debut album, Young, which reached Top 20 on the iTunes Singer/Songwriter Charts.

Paige became a military spouse in May 2014, which has given her opportunities to interact with the music communities in Hawaii, Oklahoma, Texas, Germany, and now Colorado. In Oklahoma, she performed as a first violinist with the Fort Smith Symphony (Fort Smith, AR) the Lawton Philharmonic Orchestra and the Cameron Civic Symphony (Lawton, OK). In Texas, she has performed as a first violinist with the Temple Symphony Orchestra (Temple, TX) in both their 2016-17 and 2017-18 seasons. Most recently, Paige performed as the principal second violinist of the Kammerorchester Parsberg (Parsberg, Bayern) in their 2019-20 season.
