Ms. Morgan Scagliotti-Driban
Morgan Scagliotti-Driban, professional violinist and teacher, has taught and performed in the Boston area since 2007. As an accomplished violinist, Morgan has won competitions and performed as a soloist in front of an orchestra in Ohio, Michigan, Kansas, Missouri and Massachuetts. She worked for many years as an orchestral violinist for Marsh Chapel (Boston), Rhode Island Philharmonic and the Portland Symphony (ME), where she won a tenured position in 2009.
Morgan received degrees in Violin Performance from Interlochen Arts Academy, Cleveland Institute of Music and Boston University. Morgan is currently on faculty at the Powers Music School, teaches Suzuki violin lessons at the St. Columbkille Partnership after-school program and from her home studio. She has previously held teaching positions in the Belmont, Brookline and Boston Public School districts and conducted the Preparatory String Orchestra in Belmont, Massachusetts.
