Wonderful quote:  “Music is the divine way to tell beautiful, poetic things to the heart.” – Pablo Casals

Monica Mac Michael has had a long and fulfilling career as a private violin and viola instructor, public school orchestra teacher and performer.  After teaching “traditionally” for a myriad of years, she “saw the light” and began the fascinating journey of learning all things Suzuki.  Monica has had the honor of studying Suzuki books and principles with master teachers Liz Arbus , Charles Krigbaum and Martha Shackford.

Currently, Monica lives in Bradenton, Florida.  She is an active member of the viola section of the Arizona Opera Orchestra. Monica enjoys performing with many local orchestras, such as Venice Symphony, Anna Maria Island Orchestra and The Pops Orchestra. Her Bachelor and Master’s degrees are in Instrumental Performance.

Monica received her Music Mind Games Unit 1 Teacher Training with Michiko Yurko.

Her hope for the future is to guide many students in discovering the joy of playing the violin and viola and the miracle of making beautiful music!
