Miranda Rojas is a passionate educator and performer based in the panhandle of Florida, where she is the Education and Community Engagement Assistant for Sinfonia Gulf Coast and maintains a private studio in Destin.

As a teacher, Rojas believes in instilling her students with confidence and creativity.  She seeks to learn how to best serve each individual student.  She is Suzuki trained and has an interest in cross-cultural teaching strategies and a range of musical styles.

Rojas performs regularly in the region on the violin and viola, including as Principal Second Violin for Panama City Symphony Orchestra, as well as a section player with Sinfonia Gulf Coast and Albany Symphony Orchestra.  She is also the Music Director for HERo, a Tallahassee-based organization that works to amplify the voices of women in music and perform music by women composers. Her voice can often be heard on the HERo Talk podcast.

Rojas received a Bachelor of Music in Violin Performance from Belmont University and a Master of Music in Violin Performance from Florida State University.  Her hobbies include long, meandering walks and snuggling with her cat, Toby.
