Mrs. Melody B. Brock

I began Suzuki Violin when I was 8 years old (Pasadena, CA) and loved it!! I went to Japan with the Pasadena tour group and had several lessons with Dr. Suzuki as well as Mrs Kataoka (Piano). I then went on to study violin with Alice Schoenfeld at USC during Jr High and High School. After getting an undergraduate degree in Math, I went on to study with Dorothy Delay, and Ms Tanaka (her assistant) at U of Cincinnati and Julliard.
I have taught Suzki violin lessons since Highschool. After taking teacher training courses with John Kendall, William Starr and Lorraine Fink, I took a 2 year training course with Louise Behrend in NYC.
I have 4 sons who all play violin, the youngest switching to cello. I love to teach children of all levels.
