Based out of West LA, Megan Letky is an accomplished violinist and  pedagogue who specializes in teaching primarily using the Suzuki method. She recently earned her master’s degree in violin performance and pedagogy from the University of Oregon under the tutelage of Fritz Gearhart. She received her bachelor’s degree in music education from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas where she worked closely with concertmaster of the Las Vegas Philharmonic, DeAnn Letourneau. Megan has performed with several orchestras in Eugene and Las Vegas and has also collaborated with non-classical musicians in less formal settings. She has been teaching for over three years and is especially gifted at starting young children on the violin. While in Oregon, she maintained a private studio of 10+ students. She also taught weekly Suzuki and Music Mind Games group classes at the University of Oregon Community Music Institute. When she’s not practicing, performing, or teaching, Megan enjoys spending time with her husband and miniature goldendoodle.
