Megan Letky is a driven violinist and music educator. As a firm believer that performance ability is key to effective music teaching, she is currently in the process of completing her master’s degree in violin performance and pedagogy at the University of Oregon under the tutelage of Fritz Gearhart and Lillian Manis, respectively. Prior to moving to Oregon, she earned her bachelor’s degree in music education from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas under the guidance of Susan Mueller and Eugenie Burkett. Megan has also worked closely with DeAnn Letourneau, concertmaster of the Las Vegas Philharmonic. While Megan calls Las Vegas home, she has grown very fond of the Pacific Northwest. In her free moments, Megan enjoys spending time with her husband and goldendoodle.
