Introduced to Dr. Suzuki’s philosophy and teaching approach in 1975, Mary Beth Cullitan has taught since then in university, independent music school, and private studios in the Northwest and Midwest. She enjoys and works well with students of all ages, 4 and up. Weekly individual lessons address each student’s current musical and technical needs; weekly group lessons foster ensemble skills and camaraderie for both students and their families. The students and their parents learn to appreciate the development of all the students. As they mature, most students join the local youth symphony organization as well.

A former member of the Spokane Symphony Orchestra and the Quartetto Espressivo, Ms. Cullitan has also taught at Institutes and workshops in several states and served as a Board member of the Suzuki Association of Washington State, 16 years as an officer.
