Lacee Link is currently pursuing her Master’s degree at Miami University as a Graduate Assistant studying under Dr. Sarah Kim. She is an active teacher and performer where she currently teaches at the Virginia Glick Music Academy in Oxford, OH and performs as Co-Principal of the Miami University Symphony Orchestra. Lacee is also on faculty for the Oxford Summer Music Institute where she coaches chamber and teaches private lessons. She recently completed another Master’s degree from Boise State University in Boise, ID where she was a member of the Graduate String Quartet studying under Dr. Brian Hodges. During her time there, she performed as a substitute cellist with the Boise Philharmonic, won first prize in the Concerto-Aria competition, and ran her own private studio. She also taught chamber and private lessons at the Boise State Chamber Music Festival. For her Bachelor’s degree, Lacee attended Kennesaw State University in Atlanta, GA where she studied under Charae Krueger. During her time there, she was a member of the John and Linda Cooke Scholarship Quartet and performed as substitute cellist with both the Georgia Symphony and LaGrange Symphony Orchestra. Lacee has received masterclass instruction from cellists such as Zuill Bailey, Dr. Melissa Kraut, Myron Lutzke, Daniel Laufer, Greg Sauer and chamber masterclass instruction from the Vega String Quartet, Dali Quartet and the Berlin Philharmonic Piano Quartet. Lacee has also attended summer music institutes such as the Brevard Music Center, Green Mountain Chamber Festival and Ascent Dual program (cello and chamber) on merit-based scholarship.
