Kristine Natseway

Kristine Natseway has taught music to all ages for over 30 years. She began musical studies in her native Texas as a soloist on the marching field as well as the concert stage. She began coaching music programs before completing college and has taught general music, band and orchestra in public schools. Her studio has cultivated an education in music permitting many to win competitions and college scholarships.

Kristine holds a bachelors in Trombone Performance from the University of Memphis and a masters in Music Education from the University of New Mexico. Her teachers include: Dr. Neil Humfeld at East Texas State University, Dr. Peter Vivona at Northern Arizona University, and Dr. Karl Hinterbichler at the University of New Mexico.

Before moving to Albuquerque Kristine played trombone for the United States Marine Corps, Natchitoches-Northwestern Symphony, Flagstaff Symphony , Yokosuka (Japan) Symphony, Bremerton Symphony, Port Townsend Symphony, Peninsula Dance Theatre, many pit orchestras, big bands, trombone choirs and community bands.
