Keri Tomenko

Keri Tomenko holds a Master of Music degree in Violin Performance with an emphasis in Suzuki Pedagogy from the University of Maryland where during her studies she was the coordinating administrator as well as an instructor in the school’s Suzuki Department. Keri directed the Suzuki violin program at Flint Hill School in Oakton, VA and served on the faculty of Washington Adventist University in Takoma Park, MD for eight years. Currently, she teaches at Spencerville Adventist Academy and maintains a home studio in Clarksville, MD. Keri has been part of the Greater Washington Suzuki Institute teaching faculty and was on the Board of Directors for the Suzuki Association of the Greater Washington Area. Among her many interests, she enjoys being the practice parent to her violinist, cellist, and pianist children, a strong mug of English Breakfast tea, and traveling the world with her husband and children.
