Kaylie Boutte is a piano and cello teacher in the Lafayette, Louisiana area. As a pianist, Kaylie began learning piano at age 12. Her love of music grew when taking class piano in high school. She is currently pursuing a B.M. in piano pedagogy from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette and has studied with applied and pedagogy professors Dr. Susanna Garcia, Dr. Chan Kiat Lim, Dr. Ricardo Pozenatto, and Sue Steck-Turner. She has taught piano at multiple institutions and currently maintains her own active studio. Kaylie is a member of the Music Teachers National Association and its Louisiana subdivisions.

As a cellist, Kaylie began studying with Molly Goforth at age 17. She has performed as a cello section member with the UL-Lafayette Symphony Orchestra and the Spartan Strings orchestra. She has registered teacher training for Suzuki cello book one and has studied with teacher trainer Dr. Alice Ann O’Neill. Kaylie is a member of the Suzuki Association of the Americas.

Kaylie’s piano and cello students regularly participate in recitals and events such as Technique Tournament.
