Hi, and thanks for stopping by my Suzuki page. I started playing the violin at the tender age of three with my mom, a registered Suzuki teacher and teacher trainer, and have loved the philosophy of Dr. Suzuki my entire life. Despite my love for the violin, singing became my first love as a performer, and I earned my Doctorate of Musical Arts in Opera Performance in 2014 from the University of Maryland. I am now employed as a member of the Singing Sergeants, the official chorus of the United States Air Force Band. I have been incredibly fortunate to use my violin playing skills in my time in the Air Force as well, keeping me true to my roots. I have taught violin for 13 years, and voice for 10, and love teaching students of all ages and learning styles. My favorite part of teaching is finding out what speaks to an individual, honing in on their goals, and helping them achieve each and every one of them. I look forward to speaking with you!

N.B. Given concerns related to Covid-19, my studio will be taking all possible precautions while lessons are occurring. All students, parents, and myself will be required to wear a mask during the lesson. Hand washing will occur at the top of each lesson, and the studio will be cleared for half an hour between students, as well as all surfaces wiped down. Students who still have health related concerns may opt for virtual lessons.
