Kari Jo Weaver

Kari Jo Weaver has been playing the cello from the age of 4. She spent many years studying under Irma Cripe (Alexandria Symphony Orchestra) and is currently studying with Leowi Lin (National Symphony Orchestra).
Throughout the past 15 years, she has had the opportunity to participate in several orchestras, string ensemble and chamber music groups.
She received her Suzuki book 1 training from Shu-Yi Scott and is pursuing further Suzuki education.
Teaching young children, both in a classroom and music environment, has been one of her passions for many years. In each student she seeks to nurture character traits that will equip them for many areas of life.
Kari Jo views music as a gift from God and pursues excellence in this area for His glory.

When she is not playing the cello, her hobbies include cooking, hiking, playing the piano and serving in her church.

She is accepting cello students 3+ years old into her private studio.
