Jennifer Goodman has a Masters of Music in Performance (viola) with an emphasis in Suzuki Violin Pedagogy at Southern Illinois University—Edwardsville. Jennifer is a St. Louis native and holds a bachelor’s degree from Lindenwood University. She started her musical education on violin and was a member of the CASA Young People’s Orchestra and the St. Louis Philharmonic. After beginning her studies with Leonid Gotman of the SLSO, she switched to viola. She was the principal violist of the St. Louis Symphony Youth Orchestra for two years, and also represented the SLSYO in quartets and quintets. Jennifer is an active freelance musician, performing regularly in the St. Louis area with The Bach Society of St. Louis, Masterworks, and the Edwardsville Community Symphony. She has also performed in the Cathedral Concerts Series, the Kingsbury Ensemble, and the American Kantorei, and has subbed in the MUNY Orchestra. 

Ms. Goodman is the Director of Orchestras for Christian School District in O’Fallon, MO, and maintains a private studio. She is on the faculty of the SIUE Suzuki Program, as well as the viola and violin faculty at the Community Music School of Webster University.
