Irene Claude is a flutist and early childhood music and movement teacher. She 
is adjunct flute instructor and flute choir director at Saint Xavier University, flute teacher at St. Giles School in Oak Park, director/chamber music coach of the Music Teachers of Hyde Park Summer Ensemble Fest, Music Together teacher for Marsha’s Music, and teaches flute privately in her home studio. She is a member of the Lake Forest Symphony and is substitute flutist with other Chicago orchestras.

Irene has a Master of Music Degree from DePaul University and a Bachelor in Musical Arts Degree from the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor. She has completed Suzuki pedagogy studies in Books 1-5, and has Certification from Music Together, Orff Schulwerk, and Kodaly. She is a member of the Chicago Flute Club, Music Teachers of Hyde Park, National Flute Association, Suzuki Association of the Americas and the American Federation of Musicians.
