Emma Cowie

Emma Cowie is an accomplished musician with 16 years of training on her instrument. As Suzuki Method alumni, she is well versed with the method and its goals, values and environment. She has worked closely with the Edmonton Suzuki Flute and Recorder Society as a teacher’s aid during group classes as well as other Suzuki Flute and Recorder colleagues in Edmonton. She is the current Flute and Recorder teacher at the Suzuki Charter School in Edmonton!

Currently completing her Bachelor of Music and Education at the University of Alberta, she provides a fresh perspective on child pedagogy as well as tools and games for making music theory fun. Through affordable and engaging lessons, she aims to make learning the instrument fun and enjoyable for both the student and the parent.
