Mrs. Emily M. Holmstead

Emily is a dedicated teacher and musician in Denver, Colorado who loves connecting with others through music. She began studying violin at age 4 with Deborah Moench, a renowned Suzuki pedagogue. She now holds a Bachelor of Music degree in Violin Performance from Brigham Young University and a Master of Music degree in Violin Performance and Suzuki Violin Pedagogy from the University of Denver. Here she received long-term Suzuki training from Kathleen Spring. In addition to Mrs. Moench, Emily’s main teachers include Leonard Braus, Alexander Woods, and Linda Wang.
