Elizabeth Skinner

Elizabeth Skinner studied viola with Max Aronoff at the New School of Music in Philadelphia and with William Lincer and Toby Appel in New York. She has played with the Boston University Tanglewood Institute, the New York String Orchestra, the AIMS Festival Orchestra in Graz, Austria and various orchestras and small ensembles in Vermont.

In addition to her Suzuki training, she has attended Indiana University’s Teacher Training program and teaches string orchestra at Essex Middle School, as well at at her private studio. Elizabeth holds a group class for elementary students. Middle and high school students participate in chamber music ensembles as a part of their group class.
