Liz Lochbrunner is an educator, professional musician, arts administrator and arts advocate. Liz received a Bachelor of Music (BM), concentration in viola performance, from the Pennsylvania State University (Penn State) where she graduated with honors. She holds a Master of Music (MM) in viola performance from the University of Tennessee-Knoxville and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Radford University.

As an educator, Liz is in demand as a strings teacher and strings clinician in and around the Roanoke region. She currently serves as an Orchestra Director in Roanoke City Public Schools where she teaches 4th-grade through 8th-grade strings in a classroom setting. Additionally, Liz maintains a private teaching studio of beginning-through-advanced viola students and beginning-through-intermediate violin students and serves as the violin teacher for an after-school program in Roanoke County Schools. Liz has led strings clinics at the elementary, middle school and high school level at various schools in local school systems.
