Elizabeth Brightbill

Elizabeth Brightbill (D.M., Indiana University) has taught at all levels of instruction for over twenty-five years, has taught at several universities in central Virginia, and currently offers flute lessons to students age five through retirement age. She is a member of FlutePlay, an international community of early childhood flute educators who explore creativity and play in teaching. She received her Suzuki training from Deborah Kemper and has more recently consulted with Kelly Williamson. She performs in the prize-winning flute and cello duo, Terra Voce and previously held the position of Principal Flute with the Tulsa Philharmonic and Opera orchestras.
