Ms. Elena Aneta Sherbanesco

Born in Bucharest-Romania,started violin at the age of five.Her father,Gheorghe Serbanesco,concertmaster at the Romanian Opera House of Bucharest,was her first and best teacher.Elena had a beautiful childhood,sorounded by classical music and the magic of the opera and ballet performances and rehearsals.Her brothers also started at five and are now violinist and principal basoon in the orchestra.Elena has graduated from George Enesco Conservatory and has a Master in Violin Performance.She has played with The Royal Opera House in Teheran,Iran from 1974-1979.She was Principal Second violin in Osnabrucker Simphonie Orchester-West Germany,She played in Transvaal PACT Orchestra at its openning season ,and is now a first violin member of Puerto Rico Symphony Orchestra since 1982.She is teaching now at her private studio in San Juan-Hato Rey.Elena enjoys teaching immensely and her studio is filled with love,experience,patience and joy.She is a certified Suzuki teacher.
