Dorothy Griffin

Dorothy Griffin is a classical guitarist with a Bachelors Degree in Classical Guitar Performance from Mannes School of Music under the tutelage of Frederic Hand. She has performed around New York City as a solo guitarist, an ensemble member of the Mannes Guitar Ensemble and as one half of her duo with classically trained Baritone William Desbiens. Dorothy has been working with kids aged 3-17 and teaching guitar for over 4 years. Currently based in the Washington D.C. metropolitan area, she is an extremely hard-working, dedicated musician and professional looking to share her performance and musical knowledge with young or newly aspiring musicians. She loves working with children of all ages especially young students starting their Suzuki training!
