David is a professional violist, chamber, and orchestral musician. He received his Artist Diploma from SUNY Purchase, his Master degree from Temple University, Performance Certificate from Penn State, and Bachelor degree from The Hartt School. He is a certified Suzuki teacher, having studied with James Hutchins and Joan Krzywicki. He has studied viola with Danielle Farina, Che-Hung Chen, Timothy Deighton, Rita Porfiris, and Melinda Daetsch. He has played with the Altoona, Williamsport, and PA Centre Orchestras, and was principal violist of the SUNY Purchase Orchestra.  As an active member of the Doucette Quartet, he performs regularly in the Lehigh Valley, Pocono, and Philadelphia areas. David has previously been a Suzuki teacher at Ambler Music Academy in Ambler, PA. David believes that when a child is in a supportive, encouraging environment, it builds confidence and sensitivity, and they can learn the joy he shares in playing a musical instrument.
