Cello Teacher

Cellist Daniel Saenz has graced stages and conducted masterclasses across the USA, South America, and Mexico. His recent performances span prestigious venues in the US, Europe, Asia, and South America. As a concerto soloist, Daniel has showcased his talent alongside orchestras from the USA, France, and Bolivia. Passionate about contemporary music, Saenz has been featured in events sponsored by Aperio, Music of the Americas, The Foundation for Modern Music, and several others including SoundSCAPE in Italy. Notably, he played at the Schlern International Music Festival, the Rio International Cello Festival, and Buenos Aires’ National Arts Institute. An alumnus of the University of Houston, Rice University, and the Eastman School of Music, Saenz now imparts his knowledge as the Associate Professor of Cello at Sam Houston State University School of Music, where he also coaches chamber music and performs with the Kolonneh Chamber Players.
