Crystal’s music career started at an early age with piano lessons, although it wasn’t with a Suzuki teacher. As she grew older, she fell in love with the violin and the rest was history. With a dream of being a teacher, she enrolled into the music department of God’s Bible School and College in Cincinnati Ohio and in 2015 graduated with an A.A in children’s ministries and a B.A in a dual track in violin performance and music education k-12. She also received the Outstanding Musical Achievement Award.

Crystal has participated in multiple music competitions as a student and has also been a music judge for the A.C.E regional competition. She has been a guest performer for many different musical performances at God’s Bible School as well as different social and church events around her hometown. Twice she has been to Grand Cayman with her violin, helping with a church and school. For the last several years, Crystal has been a string instructor at the Garen Wolf School of Music Fine Arts Camp. She is the minister of music at the Wilmington Hills Wesleyan Church, music instructor at the St. John’s Lutheran School and conductor at the Southeast Indiana Youth Orchestra. She currently lives in Aurora with her husband J.j where she teaches violin, viola, beginner cello and double bass as well as piano.

In 2017, her dream of becoming a Suzuki teacher came true. Crystal is trained in Unit 1 for violin and has hopes of pursuing more units in the future.

When not involved in music, Crystal enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, baking and gardening.
