Claire Paolone

Claire is currently a Suzuki violin and viola teacher in the Joliet area. She received her Bachelors degree in viola performance from Northern Illinois University and master’s degree at DePaul University in Viola Performance as well. Claire currently teaches in Naperville, Joliet, and New Lenox and plays with the Illinois Valley Symphony Orchestra as assistant principal violist.

Also having an education background, Claire has taught all ages from preschool to adult in private lessons, general music classes, kindermusik classes, and Alfred piano group classes. She received her “Every Child Can” and Book One Suzuki violin training at Northern Illinois University with Ann Montzka-Smelser (where she also taught in the NIU CSA Program) and Book Two training with Jenna Potts. Claire is a firm believer and lover of the Suzuki method as she grew up studying the method starting at age five in the Wheaton College CSA program.
