Cindy has been teaching violin and piano to students of all ages for over 30 years. In addition to teaching, Cindy developed and published a fiddling instructional series selling thousands of books. She has competed in fiddle contests throughout United States and Canada, winning numerous awards.  Cindy earned her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Spanish from the University of Idaho and an Idaho Teacher’s Certificate with endorsements in grades 6-12 mathematics and Spanish. While attending UI, she also studied piano performance and music theory. She is a member of Phi Beta Kappa and Phi Kappa Phi honor societies.  Cindy resides in north central Idaho where she and her husband raised their five musical children. They perform often together as a family at events throughout the region. In addition to playing and teaching music, she enjoys reading and hiking.
