Miss. Cindy Burgos

Cindy Burgos is a Belizean born and raised violinist based in Belize City. She first started her violin studies at Pallotti High School and Pallotti School of Music in the year 2000. She received her Diploma in Violin performance from the Association Board of Royal Schools of Music in 2018.

Ever since picking up the violin Cindy has performed for countless music festivals locally and abroad. She was selected 3 times as the Belizean representative to the Orchestra of Americas and has toured Eastern Canada, Eastern United States, Central America, South America and Eastern Europe. After seeing the impact of music on the countries she’s visited, she decided to dedicate most of her time to teaching the next generation of high level violinists in Belize. She partners with Pallotti School of Music to give back all her experience and knowledge in playing the violin through student ensembles and chamber orchestras.

In her spare time she is actively involved in the entertainment sector of Belize’s tourism industry, performing for destination weddings, music festivals and private events across the country.  With over 20 years of experience and qualifications, Cindy advocates for musicians with high level abilities to get paid fair wages across the country. She also advocates to women and girls to follow their dreams through dedication and determination in acquiring excellence in whatever they do.
